On Sunday November 21, 2009, The World Wrestling Association (WWA), Punchout Promotions, and LaUnion1910 will be producing “Vive La Lucha” Arts and Cultural Festival, a revolutionary collaboration of live Mexican style wrestling (Lucha Libre), music entertainment, and art exhibitions from numerous Latino artists. A diverse musical line-up, delicious food, art exhibition, topped by the very best of Mexican style wrestling make for the perfect day of entertainment.
The target audience for Vive La Lucha - Arts and Cultural Festival will be geared towards bilingual Latino college students and young professionals, ranging from the ages of 18 to 35. Not only will this event be catered to a Latino demographic, but will also have great success crossing over to non-Latinos because of Nortec’s popularity in the non-Latino market. Moreover, mainstream Hollywood has been extremely helpful to Mexican style wrestling and has assisted in increasing its popularity through various movies and entertainment. The demographics of the Los Angeles metropolitan area consist of many Latino residents for which many of them are of Mexican heritage. Lucha Libre is one of Mexico’s top sporting events and is much more affordable for a typical working class family to attend than many other sporting events. $8 Online Presale Tickets CHECK OUT THE FULL SCHEDULE |
